So my birthday was fabulous. :) I have this amazing family who makes sure I have a great day. Pippin and I took the babies to my mom's house after we left Bea and Tay's and mom gave me my present. Oh, Lord... it was amazing. First, she gave me a ticket to Rent on the fourth, we're going together because her and I haven't been, just the two of us, in so long. She is SO excited, because Anthony and Adam are back for the summer. Then, she gave me this beautiful photo of the two of us outside of the Nederlander the first time we went, complete with my signed Playbill and ticket stub that I didn't even know she had. It's all inside of this gorgeous photobox frame and I put it up first thing this morning. It's absolutely beautiful. She also told me that she has seven tickets to Hairspray (the movie) for her, Bea, Chrissy, myself, Pippin, Taylor and Rhys. She bought them in advance for the seven o'clock show on Friday. I am so excited. Pippin is too, because of the dancing. Get this, my amazing mother even arranged a babysitter for all the babies. Life is good.

So yeah, that's pretty much it. We've been so busy lately that I'm barely even on my laptop. It's nice to have our routine though. Both Pippin and I are here to get the twins off to school and if I can't pick them up, he does and takes them back to the studio. For the most part, that's where I meet them, because I have a hard time getting out of work before six. Alot of times, I'll pick them up on my lunch and take them to the studio though. Then we come home for supper, cuddling and after bathtime, the kids go to bed. It seems to work pretty well for us, and we get to spend as much time as possible with our babies. I can't believe they're already in pre-k. Didn't we seriously JUST pick them up as newborns?
Okay, I'm going to bed. Thank you again everybody. My birthday was amazing. And Beamy, I cried so hard when I read your card. I love you. ♥

Aw, I love him too. MWAAAAAAAAAAH.
So, I went shopping with two of my straight girls and my babies today. We had SO much fun. I swear BabyGap didn't know what hit them. They had a HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE sale on and both the bffe and I went nuts. Oh man, that was pure bliss. Oh, BabyGap. Then we hit some stores for us and Bea got this INCREDIBLE dress. It looked SO good on her. I got some shirts and sweaters for myself. Shopping is the most fun a girl can have without taking her clothes off.
Oh, while we were out, Rachel called. What's that all about? AND she was talking about her father....alot. That better not mean he's going to show up or something. I'll be so mad. Last time we seen him, Pippin practically molested me in Abercrombie to make him uncomfortable. It was amazing, I love that boy. Still, I don't like Rachel calling. We don't have a brother/sister relationship so I'm not exactly a big fan of her calling me. Ugh, I think she wants something.
My mom called to see what she should get the twins for Christmas. How much do I love her for celebrating Christmas for them? I mean, she doesn't put a tree up or leave cookies out for Santa, but she still does Christmas for the babies and that means alot. After I told her what the twins need, I told her what Jacob needs. She told me that she already got my present and A) it's fabulous, B) I'll love it and C) Pippin knows what it is. She goes, "Don't you use sex to get it out of him, Jacob Owen." I love that she knows me so well.
Okay, I'm going to feed my children and wait for my boyfriend to come home so we can decide on dinner. Oh man, I think I NEED spaghetti and tofu meatballs.

I think.. I think we need a new sofa. Pippin's going to freak when I say that. This one is just.. it's old and not as..nice as I'm sure it once was. I was in Pier One today and I found the nicest little sofa. It wasn't even expensive. I know what the boyfriend will say though.. "Maybe once we move." Chris! You can be on my side about this.. because if we move and get a new one, you guys can have this one. Free sofa, kiddo. :)
Lizzie's going to be a shopper. I took the twins out today, and you should have seen her in like EVERY store. Ash just kind of hangs back. I know that when they're teenagers, she'll be all, "Hey brother, come shopping with me." and he'll be like, "Okay." and just go because she asked him.
When I came home, I was online looking for florists and caterers. Basically, I'm going back to everybody Bea and I went to for her wedding, and I'm going to see if prices are different and what not. Well, for what I can. Alot of the stuff I have to do in Canada. I called Toronto like 500 times today. I can't wait to get the phone bill in. It's worth it though, all the stress and long distance bills. I've been emailing back and forth with one of Tay's cousins, and she has been SO much help. Adorable, she's absolutely adorable.
Everybody else posted pictures, and I'm a photographer.. and I don't have any to post. lol Speaking of that though.. Chris, can we do your photos oooooonnnnnn Saturday? I have the day off and Pippin has the twins at the studio, so I have absolutely nothing to do. Or do you work? Let me know, I'm free all day, so if you have to work, I can probably work around it. If we do it Saturday, I can have your photos to you on... probably Monday. Monday night most likely. I'll have to call my friend about using her dark room, but I'm sure it won't be a problem. Let me know, sugar. :)
Okay, I should probably go get dressed. I'm sitting here in a robe with a towel on my head. I am such a woman. Ooh, I'll go put my pajama's on and try and get a back massage out of my boyfriend. :) I do so love when he's touching me.

So, my boy is sick. :( I feel really bad for him, and I tried to make him soup.. but it tasted like shit. I should have just went around the corner and got him tofu soup from the Thai place.
Tay and Bea have the babies for the night, because if it's contagious, they can't really afford to get sick. They're both slightly underweight from being twins, and being born premature. They also weren't very well looked after in the womb, which breaks my heart. So, them getting sick would be a disaster right now. Besides, them getting sick would also get Niamh sick.. vicious cycle.
Christina is really the cutest thing on the planet. She brought Pippin a tea, some crackers and Ginger Ale and some magazines. How adorable is that? Too much, really too much. She's still here helping him. He had to get some stuff typed up and sent to Chelle tonight, and everytime he looked at the screen, he felt ill. So Chris stayed to type it all up for him.
I have a wedding to shoot tomorrow. It's a goth wedding, so it'll be fun to play with the photography. They're a very sweet couple and they were just so much fun to meet with. I can't wait to do it. It's at night too, so it's going to be beautiful. The bride is GORGEOUS. She's a pretty goth.. not a fake kind of goth. She knows how to rock her makeup, which is a plus. :)
Our phone has been ringing off the hook. EVERYBODY is chosing to call today, it's weird. I feel like, maybe I'm dying and nobody wants to give me the news, or something. Guys, you can totally tell me.. I can take it. I thought I had AIDS once, I'm hardcore.

So. What's new in the world of Jacob? Umm.. OH! I have a HUGE photography job lined up. It's for a small modeling company. I'm pretty excited about that. I mean, it's not Ford models or anything, but it's a pretty good amount of money and it's exposure. The pictures are going to run in Vogue and Elle and what not. Eeee!
AAAAAAAAAAAAAND! My mom is in remission. I am SOSOSOSOSOSOSOSOSOSO excited/relieved about that. You have no idea. I've been dealing my mom having breast cancer for years and it is just.. it's an amazing feeling to know that she's going to be alright. She swears it was the twins and Niamh.. I think it was the chemo but we'll let her have that. ;)
So.. Chris getting this job made me REALLY miss the bar that used to be there. Pippin, it was the most fabulous gay bar EVAR! Oh my gosh. I met a boy there one night and he was mean, but whatever. He bought my drinks all night, which was good.. because it was expensive. :) Meagan and I used to go all the time though, and I think that's why I miss it so much.
I can't believe how big the twins are getting. I swear everyday I look at the and I'm just in awe by how much they've grown, seemingly overnight. Oh! Hearing aid specialist tomorrow, baby.

So, I'm at Barnes and Noble with a coffee and my iPod. My mom asked if she could have some "Nana Time" with the twins today, so I dropped them off this morning and I've been on my own since. Pippin is out doing stuff for the studio and I'm off for two days, so I did what I always do when I'm alone. Shopped. :) OMG Bea, wait until you see this top I got. It's GORGEOUS. AAAAAAAAAAAAAND there was a sale at Hollister. Oh sweet Jesus, today was a good day.

Oh, the real estate woman called today, but I was in the shower and when I got the message and called, she was gone for the weekend already. This is frustrating, I want to know what she wanted. Now we have to wait until Monday. BOO! I hate waiting, God.. remember when we were waiting to hear about the twins? Pure. Hell.
I think I want a piece of carrot cake? I swear Starbucks makes the best carrot cake EVER. Oops, don't tell my mom I said that. Oh, speaking of my family. Rachel called me today. She goes, "So mom has the twins today?" I'm all, "....yeah." and she goes, "Do you mind if I go over and see them?" I almost FELL OVER. She actually asked. So, I had to say yes. I mean, I'd love for her to know the twins and be an actual aunt.. so this is big. She also kind of sounded like she wanted to tell me something, or say something, but couldn't do it. Who knows.. maybe she'll talk to the mother. I know she'll tell me.
Alright. The carrot cake craving is winning. I'm going to do that and then maybe go pick up my children.

I spent a good chunk of my free time last night watching video's of the amazing Miss. Kristin Chenoweth on youtube last night. She is seriously adorable. Everybody needs to love that woman.
So, everybody in my life has been going batshit crazy for that Snakes on a Plane song. The video came on today, and I sat down to watch it. The song isn't bad at all, and the guy with the long hair is CUTE! Seriously cute. Apparently, I have a thing for tall, skinny kids with long hair. Who knew?
I still haven't bought myself that 3-Disc Special Edition Wizard of Oz. Hmph, I need that or my heart is going to stop. I went to buy it one day, but FYE was sold out, and I was late for work. I should go shopping after dinner.
Speaking of dinner, I'm so hungry. Pippin isn't home yet and I dunno what we'll have. Chances are, it'll be delivered to our door in cartons. I don't feel like cooking and he worked today, so I won't want him to do it. I think I'm feeling like Thai tonight. Danny won't say no if I suggest Thai. :P
You know what I've had the weirdest craving for though? Meatloaf. My mom's meatloaf. I think I'm going to call her and ask her to make me one. Mwahaha Although, I'll have to take it to Tay and Bea's for dinner, because I won't eat a whole meatloaf and something tells me my boyfriend won't eat it. We should make a tofu meatloaf sometime.. right now though, I need a real one.
Okay, so I totally just called her and she's making me one tomorrow. My mommy looooooooves me. Tay and Bea, what are you kids doing tomorrow night?

I'm thinking of growing my hair a little. Everyone else is growing their hair and I feel left out. I dunno, we'll see. I doubt I'd be able to stand it, and Danny would hate it because it would take me even longer to get ready.

So, don't fear.. I got fish food. My fish are finally happy. I just have to remember to feed them now. Pippin leaves me notes when he goes to work. teehee Hopefully I'll be better with the baby when he/she arrives.
I want to go back to Vegas. That was SOSOSOSO much and I've gotten so many compliments on my Chanel bag from random people. I'm well aware that I could buy a Chanel bag in New York, but it's so not the same. Besides, I think if I spent that much on a bag at home, Danny might not be as forgiving. It's so different when you're on vacation. Seriously though kids, that was good times. Are we still doing Florida? Oh, are we waiting for the baby to make it a family vacation? BEA! PRINCESSES! OMFG Pictures of the babies and princesses. I'm getting all excited and queer just thinking about it.
I'm watching Project Catwalk. I missed Project Runway this week, but Elizabeth Hurley is fabulous, so I like the British version too. There was a cutie boy on it, but he was kicked off. I hate when that happens. Not enough cute gay men on TV. Danny and I should get our own reality series. Not on MTV though, apparently that's a curse.
Ugh, I have to sort through negatives, and I'm putting it off. I hatehateHATE doing that. It's a pretty big job though, so I should probably get it done as soon as possible. I really wish I could make a full career out of this. I love my job, but photography is my passion, and it would be amazing to do it full time. Oh sigh, now I'm getting all sad. It's probably just because I hate going through negatives. Maybe I'll go for a walk with just my camera tomorrow, that always seems to cheer me up. It also doesn't help that I'm coming up on the anniversary of the death of my friend Spark. She passed away from HIV a couple years ago, and I swear it doesn't get easier.
Okay Jacob, positive. You need to think positive about something.. the baby! Oh man, I'm getting so excited about that. I called child welfare services when we got home from Vegas to check on the status of our application and apparently it's still under review. The girl on the phone warned me that it'll be under review for longer because we're gay. She didn't use those exact words, because she can't, but she implied it. That makes me angry, but I was pretty much expecting it. It's basically, if a straight couple puts in an application after us, they will probably get bumped up, because they're more "suitable". I'm sorry, I thought we were living in 2006.
I was just reading this month's Allure...yeah, I read Allure.. don't act surprised, I'm a gay remember? Anyway, I think Kate Hudson is fabulous. Everything about that woman is fabulous.
